Looking for resources when it comes to prevention and nutrition in Yukon OK?
Being located not too far west of Oklahoma City, there is no shortage of access to healthy living options for the community of Yukon, Oklahoma.
Within 30 minutes, you can find almost any type of health care– prevention, treatment, or maintenance you’re interested in…and nutrition options abound as well.
Keeping it a little more local and staying closer inside the more direct Yukon area, there are also some really excellent options.
Today we are going to look at some health-related resources available to the Yukon/Mustang communities. This list is in no way exhaustive, as Google, social media, and your friends in the city could point you to several other options in the surrounding area(s).
But as a jumping-off point, here are some resources available to our community– no hopping on the interstate or turnpike required.
Nutrition in Yukon OK: Groceries
Sprouts Farmer’s Market
When it comes to nutrition (in Yukon OK or anywhere), groceries are #1. And there is no shortage of grocery stores in the area. Still, for a one-stop-shop for everyday groceries, harder to find groceries relating to special dietary needs/preferences, supplements, homeopathic remedies, and more naturally minded products, Yukon is fortunate to have this resource.
Sprouts is located at 1105 Garth Brooks Blvd. and is open 7 AM- 10 PM seven days a week.
Wildhorse Farmer’s Market
This farmer’s market in Mustang has been operating for 11 years. The Wildhorse Farmer’s Market is open June through September, Saturdays 8 AM to noon, and Wednesdays 6 PM-8 PM. (In September, the market is only open on Saturdays.)
Offerings at the Wildhorse Farmer’s Market include Oklahoma grown tomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, honey, a variety of melons, green beans, black-eyed peas, okra, blackberries, herbs, and pumpkins as well as sweetbreads, homemade jams and jellies, salsas and pickles, candies, potted plants, fresh flowers, bath soaps, and more.
Here’s a list of last year’s vendors. The market opens June 6, 2020, and can be found at 1201 N. Mustang Road, south of the gazebo.
The Spice Rack
The Spice Rack in Yukon brings fresh spices from all around the world right here to our community.
All of the spices at The Spice Rack are fresh, organic, and preservative-free.
Every spice is ground in small batches and every jar is filled by hand right there in this local shop.
The Spice Rack is located at 813 S. Mustang Road in Yukon and open M-F 11:00 AM- 6:00 PM and Saturdays 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM.
Nutrition in Yukon OK: Dining Out
Yukon and Mustang have no shortage of restaurant options, and you can make healthy selections at many of them. But here are a few more specific niches that might be nice to try.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Tropical Smoothie Cafe offers smoothies (surprise!), multiple sandwich/wrap selections, salad bowls, and fruit and veggie side options.
Be careful to pay attention to ingredients and make healthy modifications where necessary for yourself.
Remember, you can order your smoothies without the added turbinado sugar, as well.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe offers gluten-friendly options, as well as vegetarian options.
Located at 1751 Garth Brooks Boulevard #100, Tropical Smoothie presently offers curbside pickup as well as delivery, and is open 7 AM-9 PM M-F and 9 AM- 9 PM Saturday and Sunday.
All About Cha
All About Cha in Yukon has an extensive menu offering tea and coffee (healthy options as well as treat fare).
They have several healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, including fruit, omelets, yogurt, salads, wraps, and sushi.
All About Cha also has a pretty delicious dessert menu, including some gluten-free options, if you’re looking for a treat.
Located at 12444 NW 10th St. Bldg G, Suite 203 in Yukon, All About Cha is open 8 AM- 10 PM Monday through Saturday and 9 AM- 10 PM Sundays.

Sprouts has already been mentioned but is worth noting again, as they have the best in-store supplement and natural remedy selection in the Yukon/Mustang area.

Arabella Medical Spa
Offering IV nutrition therapy, B Vitamin injections, microdermabrasion, facials, and a host of other services, Arabella Medical Spa is located at 701 S. Mustang Road in Yukon.
Their office hours are Thursday-Friday 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM.
Heavenly Hands Day Spa
Heavenly Hands Day Spa was established in 2000 and has been voted the best day spa, best massage therapies, and best skincare for 18 years.
